Headquartered in Austria, Prachtig is a chemicals manufacturing group with a sound fame in Europe, and has set up three major divisions in its organization chart: household building materials division, industrial coatings division and household coatings division.

Shunde Prachtig Coatings Ltd. is a joint venture in China mainland embarked on by Austria Prachtig. Located at Huakou Industrial Park, Ronggui Town (a major industrial base), Shunde City, the company covers a land area of over 20,000 square meters, and has a work force of 150 employees, 2 of whom are holders of a doctor's degree, 20 hold a technician's qualification title, and 18 are qualified as QC inspectors. In fact, the company has turned out to be a large-sized manufacturer with an integration of modern management practices and advanced coatings manufacture techniques.

Shunde Prachtig possesses a dozen of years' experience in producing coatings, thanks to its solid technological development strength and R&D capability, and unremitting efforts in terms of developments of new products, thus to satisfy the demands of clients and the market.

Shunde Prachtig comprises two divisions. One is Household Coatings Division, which is specialized in production of a series of selected polyester paints, a series of environment-friendly latex paints for interior and exterior walls, and a series of ultra-strength all-purpose shellac varnishes. Such a variety of household coating products are environment friendly and of a sound quality, in conformity to the quality performance of those products turned out by the company's headquarters in Austria. The Industrial Coatings Division is specialized in production of a series of powder coatings, a series of metal baking varnish, and a series of plastic-surface paint. Powder coatings are available in such varieties as epoxy type, epoxy-polyester mixed type, pure polyester type, polyurethane type, and crylic acid type. What is worth mentioning in particular here is, the pure polyester type coatings have adopted a new generation anti-weathering resin (enforcement standards: AAMA 605.2-92), thus to ensure the products to deliver a high degree of performance even in a highly humid environment. In recent years, the company has ushered in advanced technology from Japan DIC Co., and thus developed a series of new type compositive coatings based on its established range of products. These new type coatings carry forward the time-honored features inclusive of good decoration effects, corrosion, high temperature, weathering resistances and insulativity, and also deliver such good points as a vivid 3-D visual look, clear-cut and colorful patterns and a rich variety of color choices. So far, the company owns main production equipment imported from Japan DIC Co., and has set up 8 production lines with an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons.

Prachtig products are traditionally sold in European market. However in recent years, Prachtig's sales volume in Asian market has been surging up steadily. Prachtig now thinks highly of the Chinese market and is increasing its investment and number of projects launched in China.
